11-Bill and 13-Velvet win Gold Medals and earn GJNC bids at Far Westerns!
Teams earn JNC bids
April 23, 2018 - Congratulations to 11-Bill and 13-Velvet for taking first place and earning Gold Medals at Far Westerns Junior National Qualifier! By doing so, both teams earn bids to the USA Volleyball Junior National Championships this summer in Detroit, Michigan.
13-Velvet competed in the very challenging Open Division, finishing the tournament with a record of 7-2. The team swept the Gold bracket with a perfect 3-0 record, and a set record of 6-1.
11-Bill competed in the National Division, going 7-1 in the tournament, and dropping only 2 sets all weekend. The team wins the very first 11 National bid ever awarded in the NCVA.
